During Salome’s live piano performance of Chopin and Mozart, video projections of cinematic visuals take the audience on a wandering journey through lost, forgotten and mysterious places.
The cinematic imagery is constructed as a series of deeply beautiful image sequences featuring a combination of photography and animation to create dreamlike memories in the audience as they experience the piece.
Parallel to the musical rhythms of the compositions, the visuals support the performance as both scenic elements surrounding Salome and as a series of freely interpretable narrative fragments that transport the audience into a new experience of classical music.
The video projections never fall into a set narrative, but remain a series of continuously shifting slow-motion wanderings through familiar places.
